i'm never good in art. digital art. after many trials and errors, i've managed to churn out these in 2 days..



wats with all the blankos? sorry i wanna haolian, but i'm kiasi at the same time.. :p

personally i think they look quite nice lar.. though i cannot take much credit for these. for the poster, i koped the boots photo from deviantart and the font from misprint typed 3.0. as for the cert, some fonts are again from misprint and the blue gradient idea was from kor.

basically, what i did is to googled, copied a few things from different places and put them nicely together. simple but neat! i hope they like it. or at least dun complain. :p

now that i'm finally done with the art.... i'm too happy to sleep. i have a eco amazing race to complete compete tmr. thinking of whether to google help for my team. nah, i think i'll just zzz after this.. it's already 4am.

NDP 2006

i went to watch NDP live again this year. hahaha. :x

the initial plan was to watch the show with dorjie and wodeta but dorjie ended up going back to wingtai warehouse to shop for more shoes... so my korkor got really lucky instead. :p


why wasn't i in the pic? ehh.. there i was disgustingly red that day so i decided to be the orange mascot for the country!!!! erm, u believe?

the sky was very 佩和 (accommodating) that day! it was PINK! RED + WHITE!!


u watched it every year but u will not understand the hardwork behind until u experienced it. amazing formation and pretty colors!


i know i have done no justice to the fireworks. but i was holding umbrella while snapping these pictures to protect us myself at the same time!!


of cos, the best part must come last. har? me?! *giggles* no lah.. :p

yea, we ended the night eating the dao huey (soya beancurd) at geylang. crappy attitude but delicious food!

Botanica Challenge 2006

i havent been to a picnic for... erm... i think 3 years?! so there we went to botanics gardens to watch the swans, turtles, dogs, little kids, chinese orchestra, and plants. hmm aiya actually the main point for the gathering is becus yx is going away to the far west for 4mths.





we ended the day after shopping at a supermart and cd shop at tanglin mall.

sentosa 2006

i love going to the beach!!

going sentosa is always such a happy event!........ i had picnic (again) for the 2nd time in a mth!!!!!!! ><

a nice colleague lent me the islander card. so five of us got in for free! oh oh! one more thing, i finally know how to float on seawater!! :D



we picnicked and bruised ourselves silly with the volleyball. :( pain but it's fun! :D

it was early when we left sentosa so me and my kor went window shopping at habourfront when i got really stressed for not being able to find something decent for wodeta.

i'm just back from dajie's blog. i think she has spoken my mind too. actually, i do feel tired too. and yes, it's accumulative and damaging to skin. :( but i believe things will eventually slow down once everyone gets busy. and i feel eventually is coming soon. i'm feeling really neutral abt it. neither looking forward to eventually nor hating it. cus the sun is still rising up from the east tmr morning. when i hope i can get more sleep.

i've finally clicked. :)

this is one of the best movies i've ever watched in my whole life.

no one has warned me abt the tear-jerking part. arghh.. i laughed and cried. And i laughed again while my tears are still halfway trickling down my face. Many lessons are learnt in the movie. Memories are precious. Getting priorities right are oso impt. hehee.. this is one show which i definitely dun mind watching again. :~)

i've also fireworked tonight. it was so beautiful. but still, it pales in comparision when i think abt the fireworks on ndp preview 2006.

i watched the best fireworks alone at the bridge near the national stadium. and it felt really great. mabbe becus at that moment, the sky was so beautiful that i dun have time to tell another person abt it. so, for those who couldn't get the ndp tickets this year and only wanna watch the fireworks, pls be at the bridge before 8pm tmr. i won't be there cus i'll be at the stadium waving singapore flag and singing sinapore songs. :p

ahh.. that was wat happened 2 weeks ago. last friday we celebrated freddie's bday and ate ourselves silly at sakae and ben&jerry's. thanks freddie for the icecream! :D~ too bad i didnt take any photos cus.. cus... i can't bring camera out on weekdays. T_T Sat was wellspent mahjonging at bren's place and watching fireworks' smokes from the corridors. and milopengz won! yea! they are so talented and cute. :D

time passes so fast when one is working. my deadlines are coming!! -_-

this is probably the most common hobby for most of us when we were young. But not to the youngsters these days. stamps are getting really obsolete these days. when is the last time u heard someone has sent a postcard/letter to his/her penpals?

i've stopped asking my dad for stamps collecting stamps ever since PSLE.


but this collection from disney actually "reignite" my interests again. i will probably buy it if i walk past a singpost or wad one day. ^^

all in all, i think i'm being misplaced. what is so funny that i dun understand? am i really so hard to get along with? it hurts but i still kept my smile. crooked but i've tried. :S

I can say my jiemeis have saved the day for me. I am really thankful for them. ^^ The recreational preparation is making me jittery. I'm really scared of screwing things up. Is this saikang or a path to opportunities? I'm afraid to say that i'm blind to opportunities.

About SMSes and Phonecalls.
These days, i find it's a chore to reply smses.... esp. during office hours.
1stly, i have things to do and many things on my mind.
2ndly, i am still not used to typing smses on a nokia hp and the keypad of this model is so hard that it hurts my fingers.
3rdly, i dont think it's nice to keep smsing away in the office and there is high traffic flow along my cubie.

so if i took a longer than usual time to reply. pls forgive me. i'm not finding excuses but i'm really exhausted.

I don't really like ppl to call me during office hours unless it's regarding something really urgent or something that can be settled in a few secs. I think I sounded petty here. Sorry. But these little things irritate the hell outta me these days, and i'm still figuring out why.

More reflections and rest need to be done i guess. I've been neglecting.... myself.
