Tada~ It's over!~
Birthday celebration began early on last friday. It's a combined celebration with a fellow December baby, WS!! Just when everyone thought everyone will be late, me and gene arrived relatively early and saw dajie's black black face at the mrt control station. I guess she's very tired with all the preparations going on at home and work then. *pat* The busy period will be over somehow and you will find yourself leveling up after all the effort!! :D
We waited for awhile until YK and kor arrived, proceeded to precious thots along citylink to witness YK buying that-really-sweet-thing for his soon-to-be wife. :) I'm so happy for them! :D Ren feng Xi Shi, Jing Shen Shuang? Opps, i can't remember the last 3 words already. Happiness is contagious~
Haha anyway, anyhow, we settled our dinner at New York, New York. While the guys are having guys talk and queuing up, the gals went to shop a little at the little cute booth and mphosis. Tried a turtleneck tunic. But I figured it's too bumpy at my backside and ya.. it'll uncomfy on a hotday. Felt bored so, I tried on the same turtleneck tunic in another color. :x A very nice purse in gold caught my eye at the little cute booth but forgot to take a second look at it after dinner. Argh, I should have bought it on the spot. Argh. Argh. Now, I'm just too lazy to go back to get it. And they only have one piece!! Argh.
The dining experience at New York, New York was surprisingly satisfying and enjoyable. Cuz I remember someone commented that she/he don't like the place. Hahaha. Anyway, there are at least 5 or more groups of people celebrating their birthday there. How do we know? Cus the friendly staffs are going around the place to serenade the rest of the December babies with their joyous voices. The manager (i think she's the manager) actually initiated to keep the cake for us and offered their FREE singing service to us when she spotted our cake on the floor. Nice right? Then when they got my order wrongly and I have to wait extra long for my food, the manager came apologetically to explain and offered us a (mini) basket of french fries! She also volunteered to offer us mayonnaise without us asking!! Actually, I didn't wait like especially long for my food lar. I'm so happy with their service. So sincere, so true. (Just like me :x ok pukes) So thoughtful and yet not irritating. :) I give them 5 stars!! *Dingdong Dingdong* Oh ya.. to top it off, each of us are entitled to make our very own candyfloss! FOC! Haha.. it's such an interesting experience. I'm happy and so are we. :)
Before i ended writing about the dinner affair, I wud like to apologise for my incapabilities to give a thank-you speech before receiving the present. It's not the first time I'm reacting that way but I really don't feel like thanking everyone for the sake of it when I'm not feeling sincere enough. So, when I finally got my hands on the bright crystal, like magic, words came out from my mouth!!!! Siao liao. I'm not materialistic k. I really thought it's awkward to say thank you when everyone is waiting for it. I prefer thank you all in a natural way. Anyway, I'm really thankful that I have the crowd celebrating with me and ws on that day. Esp. with appearance of some rare guests! :D Heehee I'm getting so excited about organising for the next gathering already! *winks*
For post-dinner activity, we went to St James Powerstation. Although I kept complaining that the place is so boring and kept comparing to MOS, I forgot one very important line to me. It's the people, not place. Though it's not as 'nice' as MOS, I think overall, we had our eyes opened at the salsa area and I still owed kor lychee martini $. Oh ya! thanks deanna for accompanying there throughout. You can dance, gal! And thanks kor for offering his dee lam to me and gene. WS and YK! I hope you all had fun too!! :D
I was busy at home on Sat and Sun. Don't know time can pass so fast when you are doing things. :P

a simple affair
It's been about a week. I'll try to recall as much as possible. Forgive me if i had missed out some details.
I was wearing my favorite orange heels to work. :) I don't know why. But I was really in good spirits that day. Kept smiling to myself. And thought I could feel the breeze on my skin while i was traveling to the office. :)
I met EL and shhiiook in the lift. They thought they are already safe until they met me. So there, we have 3 surprised faces in the morning. Anyway, thanks for the surprise~ and the biscuits and card. :) The second surprise came when ML cheekily hid a panda plushie behind my monitor while i was fetching water from the water cooler. :D And the third surprise came when I was tricked to believing there's a last min meeting by ASH. They actually bought a cake for CV and me. :) Although we always used the same old trick every time, I really thought there's a meeting until I sniffed a burning smell from the meeting area. I felt ASH and ML are really good actor and actress lorh. Saw them almost tripped onto each other and felt puzzled why they were so gancheong. haha. Almost cried when they were singing. But I couldn't because I was grinning from ear to ear. Haha. Anyway, thanks for those who had made the extra efforts. I appreciate it alot. Oh ya, not forgetting the cream conveyor game but nvm, that shall be censored. It's a pity CV was away when we were celebrating. We wanted to save a slice of cake for him but it's somehow consumed by me in the end. He was just late by a few minutes. :X Well, nvm, hope there will be another one next year. :)
Did I miss anything out? Hmm it was pretty distracting that day becus i had received bday wishes from ppl from time to time. Quite gandongz lah. Actually, I'm very thankful lorh. :) Must I list everyone out? Don't need lah hor? U know who you are! Xie xie ni men! hehee, anyway, the day ends quite peacefully when I went for a zhi char dinner with gene's family and relatives. It's his dad's bday as well. A very simple affair and yet so comfy. :)
