Time off on monday was spent eating at wakaru's at MS. IMO, it's overrated. I had given them a 2nd chance and I'm not going back there again. :/ Later that evening, I had a bad shopping experience at a popular game shop at tampines. The prices they quoted ont the phone turned out to be untrue. Argh..

So, in the end, I bought my black nintendo ds lite at fun centerz on tuesday evening. Their service was excellent!! :D Thanks KHwee for the recommendation and HC .. hmm.. for tagging along? accompanying me. haha.. My nintendo baby... :D

I started to feel unwell on tues and began to self medicate. But the condition only worsened on wednesday. I was coughing non-stop. :( I was coughing on the way to cck in the afternoon to get present for Itina as she is leaving the opid. Gotta thank sw the turtleking for the lift. After work, some colleagues and I went to chinese garden for some pre-midautumn celebrations. :D According to my cols, this year's exhibition pales in comparision to the one they had last year. By the end of wednesday, my voice had started to break..

Thurs is it. I had to wake up earlier cus I need to carry my machine to else where the first thing i reach the opid. I lost my voice completely and can only whisper to ppl. :( Later on, it was lunch at vienna intl buffet, another event organised by the welfare team. Pity i couldn't show them my yaokui power!!

Friday i skipped work together with bluemoon and fun. All i did was reading mags, watching korean movies and playing games. :D Isnt that a lovely day?

Oh.. today, my voice came back a little. :D yesh!

NO IMPROVEMENTS FOR THIS WEEK AGAIN. :(

ok, i'm not elaborating further. Just talking about today is enough. I didnt start my day very well. I was fumbling thru my calendar and... TO MY HORROR.. i missed an important date. It's been 3 days overdue. I'm terribly sorry.

when i met my colleagues at the lift area after work, they were discussing about playing pool at bt timah plaza after we are done with dinner at home. my hands felt itchy but i didnt initiate to ask them if i can join in. i FEAR that i will waste their time becus of my lousy playing. So i waited until mv asked me along and gladly accepted.

when i got back home, i saw a pleasant surprise on my desk. thank you. i ate and read the papers before i set off for bt timah plaza.

on the way there, i dropped off one stop earlier and had to walk to the building. it was then when i was almost knocked down by a car. i'm glad that nothing had happened to me. but i was left feeling traumatised because the car had actually pushed me physically. i was dazey and eventually broke down afterwards. i was lucky that he had pulled his brakes in time.

i had fun playing pool with my colleagues. thanks mv for the invitation and sharing cab with me, jx for trying to convince me that i will grow 1mm taller tonight from all the stretching and sh for travelling all the way to bt timah to play pool though he's living in the faraway bedok! thanks for the nice supper i had tonight. the murtabak was great!!

i should be looking forward to every tomorrow i have in life. :)

regretfully, i can't say that my hardwork has paid off. i'm feeling unloaded now cus another super zai colleague is taking over me for tmr's demo. although not something i can be proud of, i'm feeling cheery secretly. :x

well, this is win-win situation. i believe everyone doesnt wan to screw up tmr. so the best team will go! :D not very related, but it reminds me of a scene in The Devil Wears Bata Prada.:p

i'm feeling much relax and happier now. yeah temporary i know. the only way to fix my problem is to learn to grow up asap! :p

Last evening, I was sitting in my cubicle alone, staring at the screen, listening to door slammings from the departing workers. Next, the lights went off, and I went out to switch them back on. Then the keyboard clatterings slowly diminished into silence. I felt abandoned for the first time and hate myself for feeling this way. I mean, it's just OT and me taking care of my own work. It's my duty. Why am I feeling depressed? I don't wanna be that weak. Argh. Anyway, I might have to do a presentation next week for some mighty shelled creatures. Felt like shit becus I'm not ready yet and ya, the notification did come alittle late sudden. Stop whining and it's time to be serious, young lady! T_T

had a great outing with the krabi gang this evening. the gathering actually made me forgotten abt my woes though my throat ended up irritated again after eating ben & jerry's. :x *coughs*

Yay~ It suits my room color! I'm a happy girl! :)

The lamp was bought from Ikea and costs $5.90 excluding the bulbs. I was tired and lazy to find cheaper bulbs elsewhere so I got them at IKEA itself. The bulbs are sold in twos. 2 for $15.90. So, you do the maths. I paid like $20+ for a $5.90 lamp to work. Hmm... i think it's time to stop the thinking here. :p

I was down with a terrible sorethroat, fever and headache since last monday. Took MC on Tues and played maplestory!! woots! so reminiscing. I miss the nuah days before I began working. This is like the worst cold i ever had. 1 week has gone and I'm still recovering. My nose is still blocked so I do miss the smell of fresh air.

swimming, badminton anyone? now i'm even considering going to the gym, which is jogging to me.

last friday, my dept had an amazing race!!! it was helluva fun!! it's still fun though this is like my 3rd amazing race of the year, only becus, this time, i'm one of the organisers. 任务成功！:D

i was the game master at uob building's residential big bird area. had my fun waiting for the ppl to come and taking snapshots of them when they are playing cream hair mousse conveyor!!

another hilarious incident worth mentioning about is, while talking to my game partner, L, he got blessings from above. I saw it when it happened! haha.. Now I know why there's a huge bird sculpture along the river. haha.. :c

I know it's mean to laugh at others misfortune.. so, the god of birds taught me a lesson too. i almost tio-ed birdshit yesterday after lunch. It flew right past my face. I could see it at the corner of my eyes and yes, I felt the tiny wisp of wind too!! it was that close!

ok back to today, work isn't smoothsailing. i still feel stupid. i bought the lamp so i can read on my bed. i wanna read becus i dun wanna feel stupid. so i was happy to buy that piece of $5.90 lamp and paid $15.90 more for the bulbs.

eco challenge!

hehe this time, we came in the 13th position! it's so much better than the smrt challenge. the other grp which went ard with us, came in the 12th position. and my colleague's grp......... came in 1st!! OMGOMG.. i was screaming on the phone at him when he told me and he kept hurrying us to clinch the 3rd place. it's not too bad lah.. we've gotten 10+3rd place instead. :p

i cannot remember what happened on mon - wed already. i remembered one of the days i went on an inpromptu solo shopping at bpp after work. felt greatz! and bought things of cos. :D

thurs was ktv with christine. we wanted to go memories, which is a cheaper (but lousier) ktv option at night. but christine decided to try calling kbox to ask. so i called to find out it's ladies night on every thurs! :D kewl... we onli were onli neeeded to pay the drinks, tidbits and some additional charges. :D

friday i ate fish & co! the mussels are so delicious! i went home with a happy stomach. :D

sat i stood the whole afternoon somewhere out at paya lebar. hot, tiring, and boring. a series of funny stuffs happened that afternoon. getting late, photo incident and trying to hide teeshirt logo but failed incident...i was an exhausted stone before heading to harry's bar to celebrate zy's bday. while having supper at sembawang, hua called for an inpromptu gossip session. but due to geographical differences, i have to give the session a miss that night. sorry girls.

sun mid afternoon i went to the zoo thanks to dor jie's free pass. i was terrible person cus i was supposed to give someone my support but i've forgotten. i've forgotten it despite of so many reminders. sorry bro.

i'm not putting up any photos le. i felt that i didnt rest at all this weekend...again...
